Who interprets unseen things for us?”  Campbell replied, “It is the function of the artist to do this. The artist is the one who communicates myth for today.”

Toni Taylor is a ‘life taught’ artist whose work travels through the visionary realms of fantasy and mysticism. She feels a special kinship with the mysteries of Ancient Egypt/Kemet as well as the spirit of indigenous nations. Goddess imagery is represented powerfully in her collection and as a lover of all things celestial, elements of the cosmos often find their way into her paintings. Toni’s creative history includes fine art, illustration, portraiture, murals and scenic painting. She also enjoys crafting one of a kind jewelry along with mixed media wire sculptures that give homage to spirits of nature. Her professional career began in 1985 with a cover for Heavy Metal Magazine. As an avid collector it was a dream come true. Since then she’s worked with various clients such as Disney, Universal Studios, Miller Brewing Company, Marvel Comics, Black Enterprise Magazine, MBI/Easton Press, Inner Traditions/Destiny Books, American Kennel Club, U.S. Games, GRP and Island Records. She has exhibited her work in galleries, conventions and festivals across the country and is published in prints and greeting cards. Toni especially enjoys catering to private collectors. My prices start at $500 for a singular image 11×14 oil painting and can range up to $5000 depending upon size and complexity of content. Graphite and charcoal start at $425 for an 11×14 and can range up to $3000 depending upon size and content. A 50% deposit will be required once the commission has been accepted with the balance due upon completion. Limited payment plans are also available.
